We want to share with you the implementation of the motor generator at the Papelsa’s mill, a significant step towards sustainability and energy efficiency. With the capacity to generate electrical energy (600 kW/hr) and waste heat to generate hot water (90 °C), this equipment will not only take advantage of the biogas from the Wastewater Treatment Plant, but will also be able to run on natural gas, offering a versatile and environmentally friendly alternative.
The completion of the assembly and commissioning stage to operate with natural gas represents a remarkable achievement that demonstrates our company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Since March 18, the motor generator began operations with natural gas and in April it will do so with biogas.
